A citizen of Georgia may be appointed as a prosecutor or investigator of the Prosecutor's Office if he/she meets the following requirements:
Has a higher legal education;
Proficient in the language of legal proceedings;
Has passed the qualification exam for prosecutors, judges or lawyers;
Has high professional and moral principles;
Has completed an internship in the bodies of the Prosecutor's Office;
Has taken the oath of an employee of the Prosecutor's Office;
Taking into account his/her health condition, he/she is able to perform the duties of a prosecutor/investigator of the Prosecutor's Office.
